About This Role

As a DevOps Engineer at DIDC, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure that supports millions of data processing operations daily. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS services, and advanced monitoring solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure system reliability, and drive automation initiatives that improve our deployment velocity and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure

Design and manage AWS/Azure cloud architectures
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
Ensure security and compliance across environments

Container Orchestration

Manage Kubernetes clusters and deployments
Design microservices architecture patterns
Implement service mesh and networking solutions
Handle scaling and performance optimization

CI/CD & Automation

Build and maintain deployment pipelines
Automate testing and quality gates
Implement GitOps workflows
Create infrastructure automation tools

Monitoring & SRE

Design comprehensive monitoring solutions
Implement alerting and incident response
Conduct post-mortem analysis
Establish SLAs and performance metrics

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

4+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
Expert-level experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
CI/CD pipeline design and implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
Containerization expertise with Docker and container registries
Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
Monitoring tools experience (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Preferred Qualifications

AWS/Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
Service mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd)
Database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Security tools and practices (Vault, RBAC, network policies)
Experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, Kafka)
On-call experience and incident management
